Job summary

Taher, Inc. is a family‑owned food service company specializing in K‑12 lunch programs with a nationwide footprint. We seek friendly, enthusiastic Cashiers who enjoy connecting with customers and supporting a smooth service flow.

You will handle POS transactions, assist in meal prep, stock condiments, and help maintain a clean, efficient dining area. The role emphasizes guest interactions, reliability, and adherence to safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Food service experience preferred
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic to count money and make change
• Understanding of basic computer skills
• Ability to lift 35 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Successfully pass a criminal background check

• Maintains the point of sale, entering all items accurately and efficiently
• Assists in meal preparation including making salads, deli sandwiches, cleaning fruits and vegetables

In addition to running point of sale, you will assist the team in food prep, some light stocking, and cleaning. But most importantly, you will create meaningful interactions with our customers.
