Key Responsibilities:

• Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently at the check lane.
• Understand and operate the Point of Sale (POS) system, handling various tenders and loyalty offers according to company policy.
• Adhere to company policies on cash handling, restricted sale items, and pricing discrepancies.
• Follow policies for postage stamps, gift cards, and coupons, and stay current with promotions and advertisements.
• Comply with food safety regulations and safety procedures, reporting unsafe conditions or accidents.
• Maintain equipment and create a welcoming environment for customers by answering questions and providing assistance.
• Follow all applicable laws and store guidelines, and work cooperatively in a high-paced environment.
• Manage conflicts professionally, act with honesty and integrity, and seek assistance when needed.
• Support and assist customers, including minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
• Perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodations.
