Job summary

Corky\'s Kitchen & Bakery in Rancho Cucamonga is hiring a part-time cashier to greet guests, handle orders, and ring up purchases at the counter. You will upsell bakery items and beverages for To-Go orders while maintaining accuracy and a friendly, efficient service style.

Open availability across mornings, days, evenings, weekends and holidays is preferred. The role offers hourly pay of $16.90 and benefits including 401(k), 401(k) matching, and employee discounts, with 15–30 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Proficient in POS systems, including Toast.
• Experience in food service and quick service restaurant environments.
• Knowledge of food handling and sanitation practices.
• Open availability across mornings, days, and nights including weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a friendly manner and escort them to their table.
• Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions accurately.
• Promote the sale of bakery items and add-ons & drinks for To-Go orders.
• Take phone orders & prepare To-Go orders and ensure accuracy with every order.
• Thank guests for visiting and ensure a welcoming atmosphere for return visits.

Qualifications

• Proficient in POS systems, including Toast.
• Strong customer service and cash handling skills
• Experience in food service and quick service restaurant environments
• Knowledge of food handling and sanitation practices
• Ability to manage time effectively and upsell menu items
• Basic math skills for cash register operations and sales transactions
• Background in food preparation and kitchen experience is a plus
• Open availability throughout the week (morning, nights, weekdays, weekends & holidays)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.90 per hour
