Responsibilities

An SP+ Cashier creates an efficient, stress-free, and enjoyable experience for each customer. Responsibilities include receiving payments for parking services and facilitating traffic flow through the facility.

What you’ll do

• Treat each customer with respect and kindness, ensuring positive interactions.
• Be punctual, in uniform, and prepared to assist customers.
• Count the revenue bank at the start of your shift to ensure accuracy.
• Handle cash, validations, and maintain cash security.
• Make change and issue receipts or tickets for transactions.
• Calculate bills and display transaction costs accurately.
• Provide parking price quotes and directions to customers.
• Complete lost ticket forms when necessary.
• Resolve customer complaints efficiently and seek supervisor assistance when needed.
• Answer telephone calls courteously.
• Maintain cleanliness of the booth and surrounding area.
• Check inventory of supplies regularly.
• Verify transaction logs against the revenue bank.
• Compile and record daily revenue and transaction data.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

What you need

Education and/or Experience: Less than high school education or up to one month of related experience or training, or equivalent.

Availability to Work: Flexibility to work various shifts, including 2nd, 3rd shifts, and weekends, depending on location needs.

License Requirement: Valid state-issued driver’s license with a good driving record, if driving on company business.

Skills: Basic math skills, ability to read and write simple instructions, and effective communication skills.

Reasoning: Ability to follow detailed instructions and handle standard problems.

Other Skills: Use of clock, calculator, or credit card machine; maintaining a pleasant demeanor.

Physical Demands: Regular sitting, handling objects, reaching; occasional walking and sitting; close vision required.

Salary Range: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
