• Immediate opening for part-time CASHIER/FOOD SERVICE WORKER positions.
• Address: Portland State University - 1912 South West 6th Avenue, Portland, OR 97201. Note: online applications only.

Job Summary:

Operate POS system, assist chefs, prepare coffee, and maintain cleanliness at stations.

Essential Duties:

• Assist in preparing meats, vegetables, baked goods, desserts, and catering orders.
• Handle cashier duties using the POS system.
• Perform cleaning, trash removal, and general sanitation tasks.
• Provide service across retail areas, including cashiering and line serving.
• Manage cash transactions accurately, make deposits at shift end.
• Inventory and restock supplies and food items.
• Set up serving lines, monitor food temperatures, and notify cooks as needed.
• Serve hot and cold items to customers.
• Prepare items for sale daily, ensure proper stock levels, and rotate stock appropriately.
• Record refrigerator temperatures and replenishments daily.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
