DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Follow all company policies and procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness of the Service Desk/Kiosk.
- Present a neat, well-groomed appearance per company policy.
- Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.
- Operate within management planning guidelines to ensure productivity.
- Adhere to safety standards, report equipment issues, and keep work areas safe and clean.
- Treat all colleagues with fairness and respect.
- Perform accurate price checks and record discrepancies.
- Manage store supplies efficiently.
- Verify customer IDs and adhere to policies regarding checks, tobacco, and alcohol sales.
- Handle various transactions accurately, including cash, checks, electronic payments, and others, in compliance with policies and legal regulations.
- Secure the register when unattended and protect assets.
- Maintain equipment and report malfunctions promptly.
- Ensure store sanitation standards are met regularly.
- Recognize and differentiate produce merchandise.
- Perform cashier and service functions as needed.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Must meet minimum age requirements for specific tasks.
- Willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical skills.
- Ability to perform job-specific technical requirements.
PREREQUISITE TRAINING
Completed Cashier/Service Associate training packet.
Physical Requirements
- Stand continuously; occasional walking.
- Handle currency and operate equipment regularly.
- Bend and lift up to 50 pounds; push/pull up to 75 pounds.
- Reach and grasp at various levels.
- Meet activity volume standards.
- Have adequate visual acuity for ID and document checks.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
- Greet customers and provide prompt service.
- Record purchases accurately and efficiently.
- Handle payments and provide refunds per policy.
- Meet physical requirements, with or without accommodations.
- Follow AML guidelines for certain transactions.
Salary range: $15.00 - $19.65/hr.
