Position Overview

The Cashier/Expo is a team member of the Front of House. The role involves ensuring superior customer satisfaction through greeting, menu guidance, payment processing, loyalty benefits, and embodying company values. The Cashier/Expo should exemplify the company's culture and uphold high standards in guest experience, providing excellent service in a clean, friendly, and safe environment.

The position requires successful completion of the General Team Member Training Certification and the Cashier/Expo Training Certification. Fluency in English is necessary for effective communication with customers, vendors, and leadership. Professional dress, speech, and behavior are expected at all times.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers enthusiastically, guide through the menu, and process orders efficiently with a positive attitude.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the menu, ingredients, modifications, allergens, and upcharge costs.
• Handle inside, drive-thru, and phone orders.
• Assist other team members as needed.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately, reconcile daily transactions.
• Follow proper cash handling procedures.
• Adhere to policies regarding comps, voids, employee meals, and loyalty programs.
• Complete all primary and secondary responsibilities and daily duties at a high standard.
• Address customer complaints and report issues to supervisors or managers.
• Perform table touches to ensure order accuracy, food quality, and guest satisfaction.
• Keep company passwords and intellectual property confidential.
• Maintain a positive, helpful attitude and professional appearance at all times.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, systems, and processes.
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance, with scheduled hours from Sunday to Saturday, 5:30 am to 5:30 pm, shifts from 4 to 8 hours.

• Must be 18+ years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior restaurant experience is preferred but not required.
• Dependable, honest, trustworthy, with integrity.
• Positive attitude and strong personal drive.

• Excellent communication and guest service skills.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Proficiency with Aloha POS is preferred but not required.
