Job Responsibilities:

  1. Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently at the check lane.
  2. Understand and operate the Point of Sale (POS) system, handling various tenders and offers according to company policy.
  3. Adhere to cash handling limits and work honestly to control loss.
  4. Follow guidelines on restricted sale items like alcohol, tobacco, and DVDs.
  5. Report pricing discrepancies and stay current with ads and promotions.
  6. Comply with food safety regulations and safety procedures, report unsafe conditions, and participate in preventive maintenance.
  7. Create a welcoming environment for customers by answering questions and assisting with products.
  8. Follow all applicable laws and company policies, and work cooperatively in a high-paced environment.
  9. Manage conflicts professionally and act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
  10. Assist and support diverse customer needs, including minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
  11. Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
