Job summary

RONA is hiring a customer-focused store associate in Ontario to assist shoppers with their home improvement needs. You will greet customers, process transactions accurately, balance cash at shift end, and maintain a clean, safe checkout area.

The role supports loss prevention and health & safety policies while contributing to a positive, inclusive work environment. A training program and employee discounts are available.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to resolve a variety of issues quickly and efficiently.
• Attention to detail.
• Comfortable working on your feet for long periods, and occasionally working outdoors.
• Experience with cash register systems is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage with customers in a courteous manner.
• Process transactions precisely and accurately.
• Keep all checkout work stations clean and uncluttered.
• Create and balance the cash report at the end of each shift.
• Ensure compliance with loss prevention, health and safety policies.
• Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly.
