Summary of Position

Cashiers perform a variety of duties including greeting and serving Guests, operating POS systems for order taking, receiving payments, maintaining cash drawers, beverage preparation, stocking supplies, running orders, serving Guests in the dining room, and maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards for FOH and restrooms.

Cashier Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Must be able to walk, stand, and/or sit for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 30 lbs.
• Must complete in-store training program.
• Essential job functions may require basic math skills, understanding of currency, and the ability to read and comprehend.

Expectations

• Adhere to Brand Standards for uniform appearance and personal grooming.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
• Support and assist fellow team members whenever possible.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards.
• Greet Guests, take food and beverage orders, expedite orders, and assist with dining room service.
• Properly operate POS system for all Guest orders.
• Charge Guests correctly and collect payment via cash, credit, or debit.
• Answer phone calls professionally and assist Guests with questions or take phone orders.
• Interact with Guests in a friendly and efficient manner.
• Restock drink stations and expo areas, maintain restroom cleanliness, and keep dining and Guest areas clean.
• Maintain proper product temperatures and portion controls per standards.
• Clean equipment thoroughly and promptly as assigned.
• Keep floors in work or service areas clean and debris-free.
• Complete daily tasks timely and thoroughly according to standards.
