Job summary

7th Street Burger Kips Bay is seeking a friendly Cashier to join our fast-paced New York restaurant. You will count cash, input orders into the POS, and ensure accuracy and friendly service.

Ideal candidates have experience in high-volume food service, cash handling and a welcoming attitude. Food handler certification is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Count the register – open and closing.
• Close out the register at night.
• Input customer orders into the POS system.
• Process cash, credit card, and mobile payments.
• Maintain cleanliness on counter and in garbage areas.
• Communicate and work closely with the cooks to ensure order accuracy.
• Support fellow cashiers and collaborate to ensure workflow.

Qualifications:
