Job summary

7th Street Burger in Boston is hiring a friendly Cashier to deliver fast, accurate service in a high-volume setting. You will handle orders, process payments, and help lead a welcoming counter area.

This role requires prior customer service experience, familiarity with POS systems, and the ability to work closely with kitchen staff to ensure order accuracy. Competitive hourly wage and holiday pay are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in high-volume, fast-paced restaurant operations.
• Food handler certification preferred but not required.
• Experience in customer service and cash handling.

Responsibilities

• Count the register - open and closing
• Close out the register at night
• Input customer orders into the POS
• Process cash, credit card, and mobile payments
• Maintain cleanliness on counter and in garbage areas
• Communicate and work closely with the cooks to ensure order accuracy
• Support fellow cashiers and collaborate to ensure workflow

Qualifications:
