If so, we need YOU to join our team at Sprouts Farmers Market as a Cashier!

Responsibilities

As a Cashier, you will be the face of Sprouts Farmers Market, processing customer orders quickly, accurately, and efficiently, ensuring complete satisfaction through prompt and friendly service. Your duties include handling cash, credit/debit payments, and providing information to customers, as well as resolving complaints. You will assist with stocking shelves, facing, dusting, and maintaining the checkout area in a clean and orderly condition. Knowledge of weekly ad items, guiding customers to products, and staying informed about store events are also part of your role. You will communicate effectively with the front end manager and Head Cashier and perform all other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent, and 1-2 years of recent cashiering experience.
• Have an outgoing, friendly demeanor, a positive attitude, and strong customer interaction skills.
• Ability to operate front-end equipment such as registers, calculators, and scanners.
• Dependable with a flexible schedule that includes nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Good communication skills, ability to take direction, and work well in a team.
• Capable of performing repetitive tasks, multi-tasking, prioritizing, and staying organized.
• Must lift/carry up to 30 lbs. and move grocery carts requiring up to 35 lbs. of force, for durations up to 50 hours.
• Strong attention to detail, proficiency in cash handling, and basic math skills.
