Responsibilities

As a Cashier, you are the face of the company, processing customer orders quickly, accurately, and efficiently, ensuring complete satisfaction through prompt and friendly service. You will handle cash, credit/debit payments, and provide information to customers, resolving complaints as needed. Your duties include assisting with stocking shelves, facing, dusting, and maintaining cleanliness of checkout areas. You will also stay informed about weekly ad items, store events, and maintain communication with management and team members.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent, and 1-2 years of cashiering experience.
• Possess an outgoing, friendly demeanor, positive attitude, and strong customer interaction skills.
• Ability to operate front-end equipment such as registers, scanners, and calculators.
• Dependability and flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Good communication skills; able to take direction and work in a team.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks, multitask, prioritize, and stay organized.
• Physical ability to lift/carry up to 30 lbs. and move carts requiring up to 35 lbs. force.
• Strong attention to detail, proficiency in cash handling, and numerical skills.
