Responsibilities

As a Cashier at Sprouts Farmers Market, you are the face of the company, processing each customer's order quickly, accurately, and efficiently while ensuring complete customer satisfaction through prompt and friendly service. You will handle customer cash, credit/debit payments, and provide information and resolve complaints. Your duties also include assisting with stocking shelves, facing and dusting, maintaining knowledge of weekly ad items, guiding customers to product locations, and keeping checkout areas clean and orderly. Additionally, you will communicate effectively with the front end manager and Head Cashier and perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent, and 1-2 years of cashiering experience.
• Have an outgoing, friendly demeanor, a positive attitude, and strong customer interaction skills.
• Ability to operate front end equipment such as registers, calculators, and scanners.
• Dependable with a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks, multi-task, prioritize, and stay organized.
• Physical ability to lift/carry up to 30 lbs. and move grocery carts requiring up to 35 lbs. of force.
• Strong attention to detail, proficiency in cash handling, and numerical skills.
