DARCARS Automotive Group is now hiring for a Cashier/Receptionist!

As the Cashier/Receptionist, you are the front-line representative for the dealership and must present a professional, friendly demeanor at all times. You greet customers as they enter the showroom, direct them to the appropriate party, answer basic inquiries, and assist in salesperson activities such as administering dealer tags and gas tickets.

In this role, you'll:

  1. Greet showroom customers and determine the nature of their visit
  2. Direct customers to the correct department, notify sales staff, or introduce customers to a salesperson
  3. Answer basic customer inquiries and refer more complex questions accordingly
  4. Enter data into prospect tracking system
  5. Manage switchboard operations
  6. Communicate with callers professionally and efficiently, minimizing hold times
  7. Take detailed messages including caller's name, company, time, and message
  8. Relay messages promptly to relevant parties
  9. Provide basic information to callers with general inquiries
  10. Update and distribute the company telephone roster as needed
  11. Perform clerical and accounting duties as assigned
  12. Serve as showroom greeter
  13. Other duties as assigned by management
  14. Make transaction receipts for sale and service departments, if applicable

Qualifications:

  1. Clear and pleasant telephone communication skills, projecting professionalism
  2. Strong communication skills with customers and employees
  3. Multilingual ability (Spanish and Chinese) is a plus
  4. Commitment to customer service
  5. Ability to read, speak, and understand instructions and documents
  6. Customer service experience preferred but not required
  7. Ability to sit for long periods
  8. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  9. Team player
  10. Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
  11. Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record
  12. High school diploma or GED
  13. At least 18 years old
  14. Ability to pass pre-employment screening, including background check
