We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to provide an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service. The role involves processing customer transactions quickly and accurately, adhering to company policies, and creating a welcoming environment for all customers.

Responsibilities include:

1. Processing transactions via the Point of Sale (POS) system, handling various tenders such as cash, checks, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, WIC, coupons, and loyalty offers.
2. Adhering to cash handling policies and controlling loss by understanding limits on cash shortages and overages.
3. Following guidelines on restricted sale items like alcohol, tobacco, and DVDs.
4. Reporting pricing discrepancies and staying current with promotional ads.
5. Following food safety regulations and safety procedures, and reporting unsafe conditions or accidents.
6. Creating a welcoming environment by assisting customers and answering questions about products.
7. Complying with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
8. Working cooperatively in a fast-paced environment and managing conflicts professionally.
9. Supporting diverse customer needs, including minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
