Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages following established recipes and quality standards.
• Operate POS systems including Aloha and Micros for accurate order processing and cash handling.
• Greet customers warmly, take their orders efficiently, and provide friendly customer service throughout their visit.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and giving correct change.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food safety and food handling procedures.
• Assist in food preparation and serving light food items as needed.
• Manage multiple tasks effectively during busy periods using strong time management skills.
• Uphold food safety standards and ensure compliance with health regulations at all times.
• Support team members in daily operations to ensure smooth service flow.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a barista or in food service is highly desirable, especially within café or retail environments.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse customers.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and sales transactions.
• Excellent time management skills to handle high‑volume periods efficiently.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
• Ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast‑paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
• Experience in coffee preparation, serving beverages, and food handling is a plus.
