General Description Of Position

To assist the Assistant Manager and Retail Store Manager with the day-to-day store operations and performance to meet or exceed budget, while ensuring compliance with company standards, policies, and procedures.

Uphold a positive work environment aligned with Goodwill's Amazing Customer Experience (ACE) culture, Values, and Mission in all interactions with co-workers, clients, customers, and management.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge all customers.
• Participate in pricing, displaying, and selling store merchandise within established price ranges.
• Issue refunds and credits following company policies.
• Calculate discounts and special offers accurately.
• Bag, box, and wrap merchandise.
• Operate cash register and other equipment to process sales, refunds, and exchanges.
• Ensure proper rotation of all store merchandise.
• Manage loss prevention by monitoring suspicious activity and reporting to Loss Prevention.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment in the store and processing areas.
• Attend regular store meetings and adhere to attendance policies.
• Act as a positive role model for employees, trainees, and customers.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Successful performance requires the ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily. Requirements include a general educational background, 0-6 months of related experience or training, or equivalent.
