Responsibilities include:

1. Processing customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently at the check lane.
2. Understanding and operating the Point of Sale (POS) system, handling various tenders and adhering to company policies.
3. Following guidelines on cash shortages/overages and restricted sale items.
4. Reporting pricing discrepancies and adhering to policies for postage stamps, gift cards, and coupons.
5. Staying current with advertisements and following food safety regulations.
6. Reinforcing safety procedures, identifying unsafe conditions, and practicing preventive maintenance.
7. Creating a welcoming environment for customers and assisting with product inquiries.
8. Adhering to all laws, regulations, and company policies.
9. Working cooperatively in a high-paced environment, managing conflicts, and acting with honesty and integrity.
10. Supporting and assisting diverse customer needs, including minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
