Job summary

Bob Thomas Ford North in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking a full-time cashier to join our automotive retail team. This position offers steady hours, competitive benefits, and room for growth.

You will greet customers at the cashier window, process transactions, count and reconcile cash, prepare receipts, and perform basic clerical duties while delivering friendly, accurate service.

Responsibilities

• Compiling and maintaining non-monetary reports and records.
• Process service repair orders i.e.- opening & closing.
• Filing & other miscellaneous clerical duties.

Hours

9 am to 6 pm Monday - Friday

Every third Saturday 8 to noon

Job duties for a cashier include:

• Greeting customers at the cashier window, answering customers' questions and providing information on procedures or policies
• Computing and recording transaction totals
• Counting money, as well as reconciling the cash drawer
• Tabulating parts or service bills using calculators, cash registers, &/or computers
• Issuing receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customers
• Compiling and maintaining non-monetary reports and records
• Process service repair orders i.e.- opening & closing
• Filing & other miscellaneous clerical duties

Pay is hourly with a review at 90 days.
