Job summary

Great Western Dining Service is seeking a friendly cashier for our Prestage Cafeteria location. You will operate the cash register/POS, handle cash and card transactions, and provide a welcoming experience to guests.

Responsibilities include preparing the dining room for service, making tea and coffee, maintaining a clean and safe environment, entering correct charges, and giving accurate change. Attending to guests with a positive attitude is essential.

Qualifications

• Friendly and positive attitude.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Background in customer service and hospitality.
• Fluent in any language other than English a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a pleasant, kind, and welcoming attitude toward customers.
• Operates electronic cash register/POS, entering correct charges, collecting accurate amounts of money or debit/credit card payments and providing correct change to customers.
• Complete AM HACCP Logs.
• Prepare the dining room for the start of meal service.
• Make tea and coffee for each meal service.
• Clean & sanitize the dining rooms surfaces, equipment, workstations and all tables throughout all meal service.
• Assist in setting up meal stations with entre accompaniments or utensils.
• Other duties as assigned
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance

Great Western Dining at our Prestage Cafeteria is looking for a cashier. The cashier is responsible for operating the cash register or Point of Sale Station (POS), including cash and credit card transactions.

Responsibilities

Must have good attendence.
