Job summary

Great Western Dining at Northern Oklahoma College - Tonkawa seeks a friendly Cashier to operate the POS, handle cash and card transactions, and help prepare the dining area.

You will welcome guests, maintain a neat appearance, complete HACCP logs, and support meal service with tea/coffee and clean surfaces. Prior hospitality experience and language skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Friendly and positive attitude.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Background in customer service and hospitality.
• Fluent in any language other than English a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a pleasant, kind, and welcoming attitude toward customers.
• Operates electronic cash register/POS, entering correct charges, collecting accurate amounts of money or debit/credit card payments and providing correct change to customers.
• Complete AM HACCP Logs.
• Prepare the dining room for the start of meal service.
• Make tea and coffee for each meal service.
• Clean & sanitize the dining rooms surfaces, equipment, workstations and all tables throughout all meal service.
• Assist in setting up meal stations with entre accompaniments or utensils.
• Other duties as assigned

Cashier

Great Western Dining at our Northern Oklahoma College - Tonkawa location is looking for a cashier. The cashier is responsible for operating the cash register or Point of Sale Station (POS), including cash and credit card transactions.
