Minimum Position Qualifications

  • Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, and subtraction)

  • Greet, engage, and assist customers actively.
  • Process transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently.
  • Understand and operate the POS system, handling various tenders and offers according to policy.
  • Adhere to cash handling and sale restrictions, report discrepancies, and follow policies for postage stamps, gift cards, and coupons.
  • Stay current with advertising and promotional materials.
  • Follow food safety and safety procedures, reporting unsafe conditions.
  • Maintain equipment and create a welcoming environment for customers.
  • Comply with all laws and regulations, and work cooperatively in a high-paced environment.
  • Manage conflicts professionally, act with honesty and integrity, and seek assistance when needed.
  • Support minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
  • Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
