Job Summary

Summary : Performs cashiering duties, including cash transactions, verifying cash drawer, giving change, counting cash receipts, and completing cash reports. May also perform general food service work. Maintains sanitation standards in preparation, service, and dining areas.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Process sales transactions efficiently.
• Enter all sales into the cash register accurately.
• Make change, accept various payment methods, and issue receipts.
• Follow procedures for cash refunds.
• Interact with customers and resolve complaints courteously.
• Manage change funds and cash receipts, ensuring compliance with overage/shortage standards.
• Observe customer purchases and differentiate portions.
• Replenish condiments, beverages, and supplies; maintain cleanliness.
• Stock pastry case.
• Comply with service standards, inventory, and cash control procedures.
• Follow sanitation, ServSafe, and safety requirements.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
