Job Title: Cashier

Reports To: General Manager/Assistant Manager/Shift Leader

The cashier position is essential to the daily success of the restaurant. It is a guest-facing role, often the first point of contact beyond the welcoming greeting.

Job Requirements:

1. Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
2. Excellent knowledge of menu and products.
3. Responsible for ensuring the accuracy of guest orders.
4. Effective communication skills to handle questions and concerns professionally.
5. Proficient in using the POS system.
6. Maintain accuracy of the cash drawer.
7. Team player attitude.
8. Sincerely thank guests for their business.
9. Participate in all Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation fundraising initiatives.
10. Keep an organized, stocked, and sanitary workspace.
11. Willingness to perform other restaurant duties such as food preparation or cleaning, as directed by management.
12. Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
13. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
