Role Overview

Cashiers play a critical customer service role by providing customers with fast, friendly, accurate, and safe service. They process checkout and/or return transactions, monitor and maintain the Self-Checkout area, and seek product knowledge to assist customers and identify selling opportunities. They follow all policies to minimize shrinkage. A Head Cashier supports Cashiers by expediting price checks, approving transactions, and managing various registers and services. They also provide escalation support for customer issues and help supervise, coach, and train other Front End Associates, including new Cashiers. The preferred qualification for a Head Cashier is 1+ years of Cashier experience.
