Job summary

Temple Health – Temple University Health System is seeking a Cash Posting Analyst to accurately apply patient and payer payments to the correct accounts and reconcile daily transactions.

You will work with clearinghouse systems and payor portals to match remittance files, resolve discrepancies, generate reports, and help route PLB payments for correct posting. Attention to detail and strong financial controls are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in business, healthcare or related field.
• 4 years of healthcare business, accounting or finance experience required.
• General experience in cash office, billing and invoicing, operations or finance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive and accurately apply payments from patients and insurance to the correct accounts.
• Reconcile transactions to ensure proper balancing and identify discrepancies.
• Work in clearinghouse systems and payor portals to match remittance and cash deposit files.
• Resolve errors and run reports on remittance work queues.
• Assist with routing and matching PLB payments.
