Job summary

The Crosby Company of New Hampshire is seeking a Cash Analyst to execute, monitor, and reconcile daily cash activities across wires, ACH and EFT payments. The role supports operational integrity by ensuring timely movement of funds and proper recording of transactions.

You will collaborate with internal partners and external entities, performing bank reconciliations, deposits, and checks processing while maintaining internal controls and regulatory compliance including BSA/AML and OFAC

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required.
• Banking knowledge/experience desired but not required.
• Financial services middle/back-office experience is a plus.
• Strong Excel skills with ability to build spreadsheets and formulas.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to interact effectively with all organization levels.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• High attention to detail and data integrity.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, risk-intensive environment.

Responsibilities

• Execute cash movement transactions (wires, ACH, EFT) accurately and timely.
• Process payment cycles in the accounting system (ACH, wire, journal, checks).
• Generate checks and prepare payments for mailing and internal distribution.
• Deposit checks promptly and reconcile deposits.
• Transfer securities between accounts as needed.
• Perform tax basis adjustments and updates to ownership/valuation data.
• Maintain cash disbursement procedures and controls.
• Conduct daily/weekly/monthly reconciliations and bank statement retrieval.
• Investigate reconciliation differences and prepare GL entries.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements (BSA/AML, OFAC).
• Assist with invoice processing by validating payment data elements.
• Develop expertise in operational systems and cash workflows.
• Open/maintain bank accounts and perform quarterly reviews.
• Provide documentation to support audits and compliance reviews.
• Participate in testing of application upgrades and new implementations.
• Contribute to departmental goals.
