Job summary

Paycom - ATS in the United States (Grand Island, NE) is seeking a Banking Sales Associate to educate customers about bank products and services, assess needs, and prepare agreements for sales.

The role emphasizes strong communication, attention to detail, and teamwork to support customers from initial contact through implementation. Prior banking experience and training in regulations are valued, with management exposure considered a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred in a relevant field.
• 3+ years of Retail Banking Experience including opening accounts, customer service and cash handling.
• Extensive training in the banking industry, rules and regulations.
• Management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Contact prospective customers to present information and explain available products and services.
• Determine whether the customer has a need for the products and services the bank provides.
• Prepare forms or agreements to complete sales.
• Follow up on leads from loan officers and tellers.
• In coordination with the marketing department, place sales ads to promote the products.
• Complete implementation process for the products sold.
• Setting the customer up with remote deposit at their place of business.
• Educate customers on how to use the products.
• Provide customer service to business customers following the implementation/set up.
• Assist Internet Banking/Cash Management position in the set-up of the cash management products.
• Work with the tech department on any technical difficulties with the products themselves or a problem the customer may be experiencing.
• Responsible for NFS report and determinations.
• Explain bank services and charges to customers.
• Overdraft Review
• All other duties as assigned.
