Job summary

Florida Department of the Lottery – Division of General Accounting is seeking a Financial Analyst in Tallahassee, FL. The role focuses on cash management, daily reconciliations, and accurate financial reporting within ARS and general ledger activities.

The successful candidate will perform bank reconciliations, prepare reconciliations for various accounts, and support management with financial analyses and reporting for compliance and risk management.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of general accounting practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and standard software.
• Ability to compile, organize and analyze financial data.

Responsibilities

• Match retailer deposits to payment accounts in ARS.
• Daily reconciliation of the Retailer Payment Bank Account.
• Prepare daily cash analyses and input general ledger entries.
• Assist in preparing back-up documentation and reconciliations.
