Job summary

Uline is seeking a Cash Applications Specialist to join the Finance team in the Lake Forest area. Located on-site near Waukegan, IL, the role handles customer payments (checks, electronic and cards) to ensure accurate accounting and timely postings.

Pay ranges from $25 to $27 per hour, with full benefits and a path for growth. Responsibilities include processing payments, researching discrepancies, maintaining reports and reconciling accounts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s preferred.
• Experience in accounts receivable or banking is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; strong communication and typing skills.

Responsibilities

• Process customer checks, electronic payments and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Research and resolve payment discrepancies.
• Maintain department reports, including account analysis, reconciliations and accounting adjustments.
• Review payment data from third-party partners and match to customer accounts.
