Helena Agri-Enterprises, LLC is seeking a Cash Application Associate to identify and resolve lockbox items, ensuring accurate cash posting in Oracle A/R. You will work with the lockbox bank, credit team and sales locations to resolve discrepancies and provide excellent service to internal and external customers.

This full-time role requires a high school diploma and at least two years of related experience, with strong MS Office skills and Oracle familiarity; Spanish is valued and a valid

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate exchange of customer payment information between lockbox bank and Helena's A/R system.
• Assist in reconciling disputed customer accounts related to payments or cash application.
• Use Oracle A/R tools and exception reports to identify transactions that fail the automated lockbox process.
• Research exception items using Oracle and bank information; contact location or customer for proper handling.
• Enter transactions in Oracle A/R and maintain regular communication with bank, credit team and sales locations.

ABOUT THE JOB

The Cash Application Associate identifies and resolves lockbox exception items.

WHAT YOUR DAY WILL LOOK LIKE

• Ensures efficient and accurate exchange of customer payment information through the electronic interface between the lockbox bank's payment system and Helena's accounts receivable (A/R) system.
• Assists in reconciling disputed customer accounts where the dispute involves payment transactions and/or cash application issues.
• Uses Oracle A/R system tools and exception reporting and identifies all customer payment transactions that cannot be completed by the automated lockbox process.
• Researches exception items through the use of Oracle and information from the lockbox bank and contacts the location or customer directly to determine proper handling.
• Completes transactions by making appropriate entries in Oracle A/R.
• Communicates regularly with the lockbox bank, Helena credit team and sales locations in researching and resolving exception items.
• Provides excellent customer service to all internal and external customers.
• Other work-related duties as assigned by leader.
• Reliable and regular attendance is required.
• Follows all company policies and procedures.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Two years of related work experience is required.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Computer skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office are required.
• Working knowledge of Oracle applications is preferred.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read, write and speak in English is required.
• Communicating in Spanish is a valuable skill at Helena.
• Valid U.S. driver's license is required and must meet all company requirements to operate a Helena vehicle.

Successful completion of a drug screen and background check is required for all positions at Helena.

The work environment for this position is that of a typical office environment where the noise level is mostly quiet. This position requires you to use your hands for many different tasks and to talk, hear, walk, stand and sit. You may be occasionally required to lift or move up to 10 pounds.
