Unified Disposal Partners is hiring a Cash Application Specialist to join our Roseland, NJ site. You will apply customer payments, reconcile batches, and resolve remittance issues while collaborating with accounting, finance, and customer service to ensure accurate cash posting.

You will support month-end close, generate reports, and maintain audit-ready documentation, contributing to process improvements and compliance.

Qualifications

• Strong cash application and accounts receivable skills.
• Solid accounting/finance knowledge to support ledger entries.
• Analytical ability to identify discrepancies and propose improvements.
• Clear, professional communication with internal teams and customers.
• Experience with ERP/accounting software and intermediate Excel.

Responsibilities

• Apply customer payments to accounts accurately.
• Reconcile payment batches and resolve discrepancies.
• Investigate missing or unclear remittance information with internal teams or customers.
• Support month-end close activities and prepare related reports.
• Maintain audit-ready payment documentation and internal controls.
