Job summary

ANDRITZ is seeking a Cash Application Analyst to join our team in Alpharetta, GA. This position is responsible for processing and researching cash receipts, resolving payment discrepancies, supporting invoicing and journal entry activities, and ensuring transactions are accurately recorded across multiple legal entities and bank accounts.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong accounting background, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.

Location: Alpharetta, GA

Job Responsibilities

• Process cash receipts, including deposits, logging receipts in Excel, and posting transactions in SAP.
• Research cash receipts in SAP, including payment history across multiple legal entities and bank accounts.
• Perform high-volume, repetitive data entry with a strong focus on accuracy.
• Research and resolve complex payment discrepancies.
• Prepare miscellaneous invoicing, including rebilling items between sister companies.
• Manually enter bank transactions.
• Prepare journal entries, including corrections and reclassifications.
• Maintain filing and supporting documentation as needed.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• Minimum of 5 years of work experience in a similar position.
• SAP experience preferred.
• Experience working with multiple currencies, including USD, EUR, CAD, and others.
• Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
• Strong analytical thinking and proven problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also contributing effectively within a team environment.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
