Job summary

Sysco Northeast RDC is seeking a Frontline Associate to deliver outstanding customer service in a grocery environment. You will handle cash, assist customers in-store and over the phone, and collaborate with teammates to meet daily goals.

This role requires a high school diploma, at least 1 year of high-volume cash handling, and strong communication and attention to detail. Safety and teamwork are emphasized in daily duties.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service daily.

Essential Functions

• Excellent Customer Service Skills
• Assist Customers in store and on phone
• Work together with co-workers daily
• Operate cash registers & POS system
• Downpack food product and stock inventory daily
• Conduct inventory cycle counts on a quarterly basis
• Assist in the training of store personnel
• Work with management to resolve obstacles associated with products, services, etc.
• Give and provide assistance for customers on computer and throughout store
• General Housekeeping
• Adhere to all safety standards/procedures
• Assist with other duties as assigned

Education

High school degree or equivalent.

Minimum Experience

Minimum 1 year of high-volume cash handling and processing experience.
