Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance (with minimum 18 hours of accounting).
• 1+ year of professional accounting experience or relevant internship.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, GAAS and financial reporting requirements.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines, with extended hours during close.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting financial information to non-finance stakeholders.

• Advanced proficiency in Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily cash accounting activities, including recording and reconciling cash transactions across multiple bank accounts.
• Perform month-end bank reconciliation and resolve outstanding items.
• Drive SAP Electronic Bank Statement automation and reduction of manual effort.
• Research and analyze cash-related transactions and accounting issues; provide recommendations.
• Prepare cash-related analyses and outlooks during close cycles for management reporting.
• Perform in-depth variance analysis for financial statements.
• Support internal and external audits and tax reporting.
• Evaluate accuracy and reliability of accounting data and controls; implement improvements.
• Develop and implement accounting practices for consistency and efficiency.
• Ensure transactions comply with GAAP, SOX, and internal controls.
• Handle ad-hoc reporting and special projects.
