Qualifications

• 6+ years of accounting experience and ability to deliver under pressure.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance (minimum 18 credit hours in accounting).
• Command of SAP S/4HANA reporting and automation tools: SAP Fiori, SAP Analytics Cloud, Power Automate, Power BI.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Master Data Governance (MDG), including cost center, cost element, hierarchy, and profit center maintenance within a controlled governance workflow.
• Strong MS Office skills: Excel, PowerPoint, Word.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Reporting Manager/Reporting Controller to resolve monthly close issues and drive monthly results.
• Own Corporate P&L reporting and outlook including budget, outlook, and actuals variance analysis identifying and explaining key drivers behind variances.
• Reconcile financial data across OneStream, SAP, and IBM Planning Analytics to ensure consistency and integrity of reported results.
• Consolidate performance metrics and prepare the Consolidated Management Monthly Report (CMMR) for distribution to senior leadership.
• Manage ad hoc requests from senior management and our parent company.
• Identify and implement automation and reporting improvements within SAP S/4HANA to increase the accuracy and timeliness of monthly financial results.
• Bring flexibility during peak close periods, including monthly overtime, when the business needs it most.
• Own SAP S/4HANA Master Data Governance (MDG) for cost elements, cost centers, hierarchies, and profit centers while enforcing strict adherence to governance workflows and data standards.

About the Role

We're looking for an experienced, self-motivated finance professional to join our team as a Corporate Analyst in Dallas. This is not a back-office reporting role, you'll be a key partner within the Reporting Group: translating financial results into insight that drives decisions at the executive level. As you grow in the role, your scope will expand from owning core P&L and governance responsibilities today toward broader automation, process, and cross-functional leadership across OxyChem's finance organization.

What You'll Do

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance (minimum 18 credit hours in accounting)
• Command of SAP S/4HANA reporting and automation tools: SAP Fiori, SAP Analytics Cloud, Power Automate, Power BI.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Master Data Governance (MDG), including cost center, cost element, hierarchy, and profit center maintenance within a controlled governance workflow.
• A strong skillset within the Microsoft Suite: Excel, PowerPoint, Word.

• Accounting or finance experience in a chemical manufacturing environment.
• CPA/CMA MBA or advanced degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Familiarity with system integration and reporting tools (IBM Cognos, Business Warehouse).
• Familiarity with OneStream and IBM Planning Analytics.
