Job summary

OmniForce Solutions seeks a detail-oriented Cash Accountant in Tulsa, OK to oversee daily cash management and treasury accounting activities. You will monitor cash positions, perform reconciliations, support cash forecasting, and ensure accurate cash records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3–5 years of accounting experience with emphasis on cash/t treasury or general ledger accounting.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and accounting principles.
• Experience with bank reconciliations and cash management activities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily cash balances across multiple bank accounts and prepare daily cash position reports.
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations, researching and resolving outstanding reconciling items.
• Record and reconcile cash-related journal entries in accordance with U.S. GAAP and company policies.
• Process and monitor electronic payments, wire transfers, ACH transactions, and positive pay activities with appropriate controls.
• Prepare short-term cash forecasts and assist with longer-term cash flow forecasting and liquidity planning.
• Collaborate with Accounts Receivable to support timely cash application and resolution of unapplied cash items.
• Coordinate with Accounts Payable on vendor payment schedules and cash management.
• Maintain banking records, authorized signer documentation, and treasury-related files.
• Assist with internal controls over cash receipts, disbursements, and banking activities.
• Support month-end and year-end close activities with reconciliations, journal entries, and schedules related to cash accounts.
• Assist with audits by providing requested documentation and responding to inquiries.
• Monitor bank fees and identify opportunities to improve banking services and reduce costs.
• Support treasury initiatives, including ERP enhancements and process improvements.
• Identify opportunities to automate cash management processes.
