Qualifications

• Two years of experience as County Social Services Aide 3 and two years of college coursework (12 credits) in sociology, social welfare, psychology or related social sciences.
• Bachelor's degree includes/supplements 12 credits in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice or related social sciences.
• Equivalency: combination of experience and training with 12 related credits and paraprofessional case management experience.

• Assist children and families toward improved daily stability.
• Identify concerns and determine appropriate services based on individual situations.
• Help clients navigate community programs and complete required forms.
• Apply laws and regulations to support resolutions for families.
