Job Description

Family Resource Center is looking for a Caseworker to join our team.

Responsibilities
  • Perform enrollment, certification, updating, and termination processes for all Subsidized Child Care (SCC) programs.
  • Complete all assigned re‑certifications, terminations, NOA’s, family files, and other duties in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Answer phones, schedule appointments, and provide general communication and support services to all clients and staff.
  • Accurately input computer data, type, and file records for all SCC programs.
  • Maintain the required number of case files and process monthly provider timesheets.
  • Represent the Family Resource Center in various workshops and meetings.
  • Update programs and basic operations of all services.
  • Provide technical assistance and support services to parents and providers, demonstrating good customer service.
  • Operate NoHo and Outlook computer programs.
  • Participate in workshops and meetings as needed.
  • Work outside the traditional workday occasionally, as required.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and interact with the public, clients, providers, and agency staff with excellent customer service.
Qualifications
  • Good office skills and computer knowledge with strong typing and data entry ability.
  • Proven communication skills when dealing with coworkers and community members.
  • Knowledge of community programs and resources available in San Joaquin County.
  • Ability to work as a team member, take direction, and assume responsibility with sound decision-making.
  • Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Basic arithmetic and computation skills; ability to analyze and interpret monthly attendance sheets.
  • Excellent prioritization and problem‑solving skills.
  • Attendance is an essential function of this job.
  • Must pass a pre‑employment drug test.
Education and Experience
  • Preferred: Associate’s degree in a related area.
  • Minimum: High School diploma and at least two (2) years of related experience.
Compensation

Pay Range: $19.24–$23.88 per hour.
