The City of Phoenix Human Services Department (HSD) enhances the health, wellness, and quality of life for Phoenix residents by providing a comprehensive array of services to help people meet emergency, short-and long-term needs; and to help every individual reach their highest level of self-sufficiency. The Community Services and Initiatives Division of HSD provides holistic and coordinated services to low-income, vulnerable, and senior residents of Phoenix through a qualified and dedicated workforce.

The Community Services and Initiatives Division offers a variety of social services to low-income households experiencing crisis. Services are provided through three family services centers. Each center provides a broad range of assistance with urgent needs as well as short and long-term case management services. HSD is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Casework Aide to join their Community Services and Initiatives Division.

Casework Aides are responsible for interviewing clients, conducting assessments to determine eligibility for federally funded programs, identifying necessary assistance, and making referrals to appropriate service agencies.
