Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from accredited college or university.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements and level assigned (Special Education and General Education).
• Valid Texas driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Develop instructional plans and maintain an orderly classroom environment.
• Implements IEPs and monitors student progress.
• Communicates regularly with parents to review student progress.
• Coordinates and documents ARD/IEP process for each student.
• Maintains confidentiality of student information.
