Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED from an accredited institution.
• 48 hours of college coursework.
• Pass Spring ISD’s NCLB test in Reading, Writing, and Math.

Responsibilities

• Assist teacher in preparing instructional materials and displays.
• Assist in implementing plans for developing independent living, community access and vocational training.
• Maintain records/reports required by laws/regulations.
• Train and coach students in classroom and community settings.
• Assist in crisis intervention and behavior management as needed.
• Supervise students throughout the school day.
• Document student progress and performance.
