Job summary

Child Care Resource Center seeks a Case Specialist Trainee-Temporary for a 12-week on-site trainee program in Northern Los Angeles and San Bernardino counties. The role involves on-the-job training, case processing, client support, and data entry, with progression to a Case Specialist I upon successful completion.

Temp status offers benefits, but no vacation accrual during the program. Position requires background checks and full-time onsite work with occasional travel as needed.

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent required and 2 years related work experience; or
Associate's Degree in Psychology, Sociology, Child Development, Social Work, Family Studies or related field; or
Or any equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates required knowledge and abilities.

Responsibilities

Case Processing (70%), handling intake, eligibility and file management.
Client Interaction and Support (20%), providing guidance and customer service to families.
Data Entry / Documentation Maintenance (10%), accurate data entry and record keeping.
