Job summary

CAI is seeking a motivated Case Review Analyst for its Newark, DE office. This full-time, onsite role reviews cases completed by case workers, determines benefit eligibility, and provides detailed feedback to improve accuracy and compliance.

The ideal candidate has at least one year of case management or processing experience with government programs, strong Microsoft Office and data entry skills, and excellent communication and organizational abilities. Weekend availability may be required.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of one year case management or processing programs of assistance for State government experience.
  • Minimum of one year determining compliance with State and Federal laws, rules, policies and procedures, or related experience.
  • Microsoft Office Suite proficiency.
  • Data entry experience.
  • Attention to detail and outstanding organizational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication; ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Team-oriented with the ability to drive work to completion.

Responsibilities

  • Review cases completed by case workers to determine benefit eligibility.
  • Identify and document errors and provide detailed feedback regarding cases.
  • Investigate constituent complaints and report outcomes.
  • Maintain confidentiality in all situations.
  • Communicate with clients regarding their case as necessary.
  • Provide training opportunities feedback based on error trends to management.
  • Work onsite in Newark, DE; stay compliant with federal/state policies.
  • Assist Case Workers with questions and guidance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Job Description

We are looking for a Case Review Analyst to review cases completed by case workers, determining benefit eligibility, document errors, and provide detailed feedback regarding cases. This position is a full-time, long-term opportunity that is onsite in Newark, DE.

What You'll Do
  • Strong working knowledge of Federal laws, rules, regulations, standards, and State Policy related to how the public assistance programs are administered by the Division of Social Services
  • Investigate and document constituent complaints
  • Identify fraud or abuse in the public assistance programs, and know how to report it appropriately
  • Review cases completed by case workers determining benefit eligibility
  • Document errors and provide detailed feedback regarding cases
  • Provide details regarding training opportunities based on error trends to management
  • Maintain confidentiality in all situations
  • Communicate with clients regarding their case as necessary
  • Provide answers to questions from Case Workers regarding cases at hand
  • Any further duties assigned by management
Required
What You'll Need
  • Minimum of one year case management or processing programs of assistance for State government experience

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards
  • Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
  • Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor

$20 per hour
