Ryder Supply Chain Solutions in Tarboro, NC is hiring Case Pickers to join a safety-first distribution team with state-of-the-art equipment. Hourly pay is $19.50 with $1.00 extra per hour on 2nd shift. Weekly pay, medical/dental/vision, and a 401(k) with company match are offered.

Shifts include 1st and 2nd, with on-the-job training and PTO. The role emphasizes teamwork, accuracy, and safe operation of material handling equipment in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year or more warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to read location and product codes clearly.
• Strong math and basic computer/data entry skills.

Responsibilities

• Picking product and case pick for shipping.
• Palletize, hand stack and stretch wrap as required.
• Safely operate warehouse equipment.
• Assist in cycle counting and inventory control.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One (1) year or more previous warehouse experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
• Must have adequate math skills
• Able to recognize and read location codes and product codes
• Meet and exceed established Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors)
• Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills
• Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices
