Responsibilities

• Performs daily review of reports to ascertain required activity on payer accounts; maintains accurate records daily.
• Establishes, maintains and revises filing systems; ensures confidentiality of information.
• Communicates payer requests and denials to case managers; coordinates information flow.
• Alerts Director to potential issues with coverage.
• Coordinates continued stay reviews with UR Nurses and Case Managers.
• Maintains accurate documentation in computer systems.
