Job summary

Jobtailor in Tennessee seeks a dedicated youth services caseworker to advocate for youth in court, schools, and family team meetings. You will perform weekly casework and build strong relationships with youth on your caseload.

You will develop treatment plans, conduct intake studies, arrange family visits, monitor education, and coordinate medical and therapeutic services while keeping accurate case records and monthly progress reports for families and referring agencies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Sciences (Social Work, Psychology, Sociology) or Education is required.
  • Ability to collaborate with a dedicated team of advocates and accept supervision.
  • Must pass an extensive background check and drug screen.
  • Ability to handle the physical requirements of the role (standing, climbing stairs, lifting up to 40 lbs) and the emotional weight of child welfare.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (Sponsorship not available).
