The position offers a day shift with a Monday–Friday schedule (4 days on-site, 1 day remote; Fridays on-site) from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, in a hybrid clinic setting.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree and at least 5 years of relevant case management experience.
• Experience with survivors of domestic violence or gender-based violence.
• Experience assisting clients with public benefits and housing.
• Proficient in case documentation and confidentiality.

Salary: USD20 - USD26 per hour

A New York City-based social services network is seeking a Case Manager for a walk-in clinic in the Bronx. This role provides direct support to survivors of domestic violence and gender-based violence through trauma-informed case management, advocacy, referrals, and coordination with onsite partners.

About the Opportunity:

• Shift: Day shift


• Schedule: Monday through Friday (4 days onsite and 1 day remote; Fridays onsite)

Responsibilities:

• Conduct intakes and assess client needs using a trauma-informed, client-centered approach


• Provide case management services, including safety planning, crisis intervention, advocacy, and referrals


• Assist clients with emergency shelter placement, housing guidance, and access to public benefits


• Support clients navigating court-related services, including family court and related documentation


• Maintain accurate case records, collaborate with onsite partners, and uphold confidentiality standards

Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree and at least 5 years of relevant case management experience


• Experience working with survivors of domestic violence or gender-based violence


• Experience assisting clients with public benefits, housing, and other social service supports


• Strong communication, listening, writing, and documentation skills


• Ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain discretion, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment


• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook


• Ability to flex schedule based on program needs

Desired Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field


• Experience in a Family Justice Center or shelter-based setting


• Familiarity with serving diverse and disenfranchised communities


• High emotional intelligence, resilience, and a strong trauma-informed approach
